We all remember when Kobe Bryant stepped up to the line after tearing his achilles, and it was a moment that will go down in NBA history.

Well, on Sunday night, James Harden shot free throws after an ankle injury, and he made both of them as well. This wasn’t exactly tearing an achilles, and it was just a game in December against the Kings, but it does show some toughness on his part. Harden left the game afterwards, and he wouldn’t return.

The Kings would go on to win, 106-91. Harden has battled a foot injury all season, and now it seems as if his ankle could give him issues. The Rockets have a real shot at the title this season, so Harden’s health is more important in April than it is in December. Expect the Rockets to be cautious with him.

It was impressive to see him step up and hit two free throws on one foot. Some people can’t even hit them on both feet.
