The Minnesota Vikings are currently giving it to Nick Foles and his Philadelphia Eagles at home, without Adrian Peterson.

The Vikings are dead last in the division and were thought to be down and out against a playoff contender with both of their top two running backs out of the game. Starting quarterback Matt Cassel has done a great job for this team when he’s under center. This could be a problem for former starting quarterback Christian Ponder who could be cut loose during the off-season if Matt continues to play the way he is.

Right now Minnesota is up 24-9 on the Eagles and are showing no signs of slowing down with a little under eight minutes left in the game.

Cassel is currently 17 for 23 for 254 passing yards and one touchdown. His touchdown scramble brought his rushing total up to 19 yards on three carries.

Right now Dallas Cowboys fans are cheering for Minnesota. Dallas takes on the Green Bay Packers later on today.
