Earlier today, Sony Pictures released the Red Band Trailer for the upcoming film 22 Jump Street.
The official synopsis for the film reads like this.
After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) when they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team, and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. Now they don’t have to just crack the case – they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship. If these two overgrown adolescents can grow from freshmen into real men, college might be the best thing that ever happened to them.”
That’s right; our two favorite slacker officers are back. There is one small difference this time. When thy go back to Deputy Chief Hardy, played by Nick Offerman, they are told that the church they were operating out of before was bought back by the Koreans, so they are being relocated across the street to 22 Jump Street.
So the two of them head on over to their new location where they meet up with Captain Dickson, played by Ice Cube. It is then that they find out that they are being sent back to school once again, this time…to college.
This is where the two of them think they have it made. They think this is going to be an easy in and out; go to the classes and activities, ask around about the drug, and find out who the dealer is. Yeah, ok…as if it is ever that easy.
As they start to make their way through campus life, they start to feel like they are a little too old to be there.
Do we look older, or does everyone in college look like babies?” Jenko says.
Unfortunately for him, he gets his answer really quickly and no so politely for that matter.
Finally, they decide that they need an expert to consult with. That is where they pay a visit to their old friend Mr. Walters, played by Rob Riggle.
Here is a look at the new Red Band Trailer for the film 22 Jump Street.
