In a game that was very difficult on the eyes, the Orlando Magic defeated the Chicago Bulls 83-82 on Monday night.

Arron Afflalo continued to show why he should be an all-star this season, pouring in 23 points on eight-of-14 shooting, grabbing eight rebounds and dishing out four assists. Glen Davis had 14 points and 11 rebounds, Nikola Vucevic scored 10 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and veteran Jameer Nelson had 14 points, seven assists and five rebounds.

Luol Deng had a game-high 26 points and Mike Dunleavy and the newly acquired D.J. Augustin came off the bench to score 14 points each.

Neither team could put the ball in the basket. The Magic shot 33-of-83 from the field (39.8%) while the Bulls were even worse, going 28-of-81 (34.6%). The Bulls were able to stay in the game because of their ability to get to the free throw line. They shot 21-of-26 from the charity stripe while the Magic shot just 12-of-16.

The Magic fell apart down the stretch, nearly coughing up a lead that was 17 at one point in the third quarter. Deng missed a layup that would have tied the game at 81 with just two seconds left and Davis iced the game with two free throws before Dunleavy hit a 46-footer at the buzzer.

The Magic are now 8-17 while the Bulls are 9-14.
