The Green Bay Packers were trailing the Dallas Cowboys 26-3 at the half, and even they thought they were done. Packers quarterback Matt Flynn said even they though the game was over.

“When we were in the locker room at halftime, did we really think there was a chance, the way we played, that we could come back and win the game? Not really,” Flynn told TheMMQB.com’s Peter King after the game.

It was a big win for a man who has had a rough season. Flynn had been cut twice in 2013 since being released by the Seattle Seahawks. At home with the Packers, where he was successful before going to Seattle, Flynn brought back some of that magic.

“It’s all worth it now,” Flynn said. “This is the best day I’ve had in the NFL. You work for a long time to have the kind of fun we had today, and if you have to go through some tough times to get there, well, that’s the way it goes.”
