WWE RAW results: Rhodes Brothers take on Big Show and Rey Mysterio

After finding out what the Main Event was going to be for tonight’s episode, the WWE Universe was given the chance to choose the Rhodes Brothers opponents for tonight’s tag match.

Last night the WWE Tag Team Champions found themselves in a Fatal Four Way match for their titles. The match consistent of the Rhodes Brothers themselves, Big Show/Rey Mysterio, The Real Americans and the team of Ryback/Axel.

It is revealed that the Big Show and Rey Mysterio are the team to take on the brothers. These two teams were the final teams standing that ended up in the Rhodes brothers retaining their titles. Body Cody and Mysterio start off the match by shaking hands the lock up. Rhodes brings Mysterio off with a headlock, Mysterio locks him in a head scissors but Rhodes breaks free. Mysterio hits Rhodes with a hurricanrana that sends him out the ring.

Rey Rey slides on his stomach, hitting a bit of a splash on Rhodes then sends the younger Rhodes brother inside the ring. Cody gets a two count on Mysterio then hands him over to his brother Goldust. Goldust hits a couple moves on the smallest World Heavyweight Champion in history then tags back in his brother.

A great strategy by the Rhodes brothers to keep each other fresh. Mysterio gets away from Cody and gets a hot tag on the Big Show. Big Show being one of the biggest World Heavyweight Champions in the history of the title, steps in and knocks Cody down almost immediately.

The show comes back from commercial break with Cody taking some more punishment from the 500 pound monster. Big Show hits Rhodes with a chop to the chest after silencing the crowd. Cody hits a flurry of right hands on the back man, getting him to stagger back. Cody bounces back against the ropes, sprints towards Big Show only to catch a big boot to the chest.

Meanwhile outside the ring, Lawler, Bradshaw and Cole take a selfie of themselves on a Galaxy S4.

Show pulls Rhodes up to his feet and locks in what appears to be a cobra clutch. Show applies all the pressure he can into the hold, which has Cody slowly fading out. Show gets down to one knee, Cody trying to fight back. The crowd gets behind Cody, which gives him enough strength to grab the big man’s head and sit out in a jaw breaker.

Big Show gets momentum back on his favor and punishes Cody in the corner. There is a look of concern on the older brother who stands in the corner as Big Show climbs the middle turnbuckle looking to hit a huge aerial maneuver.

Show leaps off the middle rope looking to hit an elbow drop but Cody moves. Cody tags in his brother who comes in and is absolutely on fire.

Goldust hits a hard drop kick on Big Show that takes the big man off his feet, then later hits a flying forearm to the chin that takes him off his feet again.

Big Show eventually catches Goldust with a chokeslam after getting hit with a flurry of attacks but Cody saves his brother from a three count. Big Show avoids a cross body from Goldust and catches him with the knock out punch Big Show tags in Mysterio and helps him onto his shoulders.

Mysterio soars off the shoulders of the giant and hits a splash on Goldust for the victory.

At the end of the match, Big Show helps up Goldust and all four men show each other some great sportsmanship.
