Silva had approval for the use of testosterone replacement therapy at the event, but he still managed to be popped for elevated testosterone levels after the fight. passed along the news.

Due to the failed drug test, Silva has been suspended for nine months and he must forfeit the $50,000 bonus that he received from the UFC for his Fight of the Night performance.

This is the second time in Silva’s career that he has failed a post-fight drug test.
