5'8" Oregon PG defends 7'6" C, an incredible photo

Last night the Oregon Ducks took on the UC-Irvine squad in a little bit of collegiate hoops. There was an interesting moment when Oregon point guard Johnathan Loyd (who stands 5′ 8″), was trying to guard UC Irvine’s Mamadou Ndiaye (who stands 7′ 6″).

It makes for a ridiculous, yet awesome photograph.

Oregon got the win in the game though. Loyd had four points making both shots he atempted. He also had a rebound, though it probably didn’t come from this play in the photograph. He also had three assists.

Ndiaye had a solid night too, he scored seven points and was 3-of-4 shooting from the floor. He struggled from the line making just one of three attempts. He also had 5 rebounds and four blocks.

Loyd gets credit though for not backing down and sticking in their to guard him.
