Chase Budinger missed most of the season for the Minnesota Timberwolves last year, and when he returned, their offense was better. He isn’t a superstar guy, but he is a solid role player who can shoot and play some defense.
He has missed the entire season so far due to a knee injury, and the Timberwolves could use his production. They are a very good team, but their schedule has been tough as of late, and they have lost some games. The offense in Minnesota has been much improved now that Kevin Love is healthy, and with the additions of Kevin Martin and Corey Brewer, and Budinger could really add some depth for this fringe playoff team.
According to the Timberwolves, we could be seeing what he can give them soon:
Chase Budinger cleared to return to full-contact practice. Still no timetable for his return, but obvious step in right direction. #Twolves

The last step in a player’s recovery is being cleared for contact, so it is only a matter of time until he returns. Hopefully Budinger can stay healthy, and the Wolves can show us what they are when at full strength.
