The LOX releases surprise album, Trinity EP

Last week Beyonce made waves when she released a self-titled album. Less then a week later, The LOX pulled a Beyonce and have released an album titled Trinity EP on Wednesday morning. The LOX, the group made up of Jadakiss, Styles P and Sheek Louch, haven’t released an official project as a group in about 10 years.

We knew they were working on an album.

“We already like 10 joints in,” Swizz Beatz told ”RapFix Live” last month. “And Khaled definitely has an ear for music and especially bringing along those collaborations, which I think could be a strong point for the LOX. But it’s [whatever] the LOX think.”

The group also reportedly working on a sequel to the 2000 album, We Are The Streets. In 2012, Sheek Louch told MTV News that the new album will be executive produced by Swizz Beatz and DJ Khaled.

The Trinity EP only contains four tracks and is priced at $3.96 in the iTunes store, or $0.99 a song. Click here to get the album.
