Pacers coach Frank Vogel could miss tonight's game against Miami due to illness

The Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers are set to square off on Wednesday night, but it looks like the teams may be a little banged up. Michael Beasley is out, LeBron James is a game-time decision, and Greg Oden is out (in case you wondering). The Indiana Pacers are healthy, but there could be a big hole on their bench, according to the Pacers’ PR department:

This wouldn’t be the same magnitude as if Paul George or Roy Hibbert missed the game, but don’t underestimate Vogel’s value. His ability to get the guys to stay on their defensive principles is great for this team. The Pacers do have Nate McMillan on their sideline to coach the team if he Vogel can’t go, so they will be in good hands.

This one is going to be great, and anytime these two teams match up, there is always fireworks. Here’s hoping that both these teams get healthy so we can enjoy the game at its full capacity.
