Air Force's Anthony LaCoste accepts an invitation to play in East-West Shrine Game

The Mountain West conference will be well represented at the East-West Shrine Game as senior Air Force running back Anthony LaCoste has accepted an invitation to play in the East-West Shrine Game.

LaCoste is a small running back coming at 5-foot-10 and 205 pounds but put up great numbers this season for the academy. This past season, LaCoste rushed for 890 yards on 135 carries and had six touchdowns.

LaCoste finished up his Air Force career with 1,055 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. His best game of the season came against Army, where he rushed for 263 yards on 23 carries and had three touchdowns. Air Force would go on to win that game 42-28.

LaCoste would then follow-up that performance the next week with 177 rushing yards against New Mexico but the Falcons would lose 45-37. In that game, LaCoste would have zero touchdowns.
