Reporter thinks Anthony Morrow scored 137 points in NBA game

As a team, scoring 137 points in an NBA game isn’t very easy. But to do so as a single player? Impossible, right? Well, not according to Jen Hale, who had a rough moment during her sideline report on Wednesday night as the New Orleans Hornets took on the Los Angeles Clippers.

Anthony Morrow, who you most likely remember as – well – unless you’re a hardcore basketball fan, you likely don’t remember him at all. And for good reason as Morrow has never been much more than a rotational bench player at his best, but according to Hale he also scored 137 points in a game.

Now – there’s a pretty good chance Hale was reading off a teleprompter attached to the camera, so I’m going to assume given how she elongated the ‘hundred’ mention in her report, she was likely thinking ‘what in the hell’ as the wording scrolled by.

Regardless, I have a feeling Hale might double check the information being passed along to her in the future (click here if video doesn’t work).
