The Baltimore Ravens game against the Detroit Lions had a lot of people around the NFL’s attention for the implications the results would have. Ravens kicker Justin Tucker nailed a 61-yard field goal to win the game.

That Lions loss helped the Green Bay Packers out, and quarterback Aaron Rodgers thanked Tucker for making the kick.

“I’d like to thank Justin Tucker off the top here for his performance last night,” Rodgers said to open his ESPN Milwaukee radio show, via Rob Demovsky. “Unbelievable. That 61-yarder was amazing. I didn’t quite get the three previous plays, but wow.

“It’s amazing that we’re sitting here 7-6-1 with a chance to win two and be in [the playoffs],” Rodgers said.

For the New York Jets, the win means there is no chance they can make the playoffs. Ryan said it felt like he was kicked in the head, and understandably so.

I felt like I got kicked in the head,” Ryan said. “I felt better about Detroit stopping them on fourth down than I did this kid missing from 61, which sounds crazy. It’s 61 yards, and he drills it.”
