On Friday, Baylor Bears running back Lache Seastrunk requested an NFL Draft evaluation as he toys with the idea of bypassing his next season in Waco and testing the waters of the National Football League, according to Chuck Carlton of the Dallas Morning News:
Baylor RB Lache Seastrunk has requested draft evaluation from NFL, said today he will make decision after Fiesta Bowl.

Seastrunk, a junior, rushed for 1,060 yards on just 141 carries this season and 11 touchdowns in helping the Bears clinch a Big 12 Championship and their first ever BCS berth in the Fiesta Bowl against Central Florida.
As far as some competition that he would have to deal with from the running back slot in this upcoming draft, the class got a little thinner today with the announcement that Wisconsin’s Melvin Gordon will be returning to school next season. However, there are still outgoing seniors in Ohio State’s Carlos Hyde and Boston College’s Andre Williams, as well as a plethora of some other underclassmen backs that could declare.
