Earlier this week, we reported Adlan Amagov was injured and forced to pull out of his UFC Fight Night 35 bout against Jason High. Today news broke that UFC newcomer, Beneil Dariush, will replace Amagov on about a month’s notice to fight Jason High on January 15th.
Jason High tweeted the news, assuring his fans that he will still be fighting next month:
New opponent Beneil Dariush. Still goin down January 15th @UFC Fight Night in Atlanta don’t trip.

Dariush, a member of the Wand fight team, is 6-0 with five straight finishes. He will be taking a big step up in competition when he meets High is just over a month.
High, a member of American Top Team, is currently on a two fight winning streak inside the Octagon, with wins over Anthony Lapsley and James Head. He will have the distinct experience advantage over Dariush come fight night.
UFC Fight Night 35 takes place on January 15th in Duluth, Georgia. In the main event of the evening top 10 Middleweights, Luke Rockhold and Costa Philippou, will look to get back on the winning track. In the co-main event, Brad Tavares will look to push his winning streak to 5 in a row against Lorenz Larkin.
