UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman will defend his title for the first time on Dec. 28 in the main event of UFC 168, against the man who he defeated to earn the belt — former pound-for-pound king Anderson Silva.
While Weidman prepares for next weekend’s bout, which is the most anticipated rematch in UFC history, he has been doing media tours to promote the fight.
Weidman’s most recent stop was in Bristol, Connecticut for an appearance with ESPN.
During his time on the ESPN campus, Weidman shot an entertaining promo for his on-air interview, where former NFL players Darren Woodson and Damien Woody take turns breaking bottles over his head. To add some humor to the clip, Weidman is nonchalantly reading “Cat Fancy” magazine, before threatening to choke out Woodson and Woody.
