There was plenty of doubt that the Cleveland Browns would be without tight end Jordan Cameron on Sunday for their Week 16 match up against the New York Jets. During last week’s game, Cameron suffered a concussion that kept him out of practice all week.

With the lack of practice, it was clear that Cameron had not yet been cleared to return and that led to all of the doubt that he would miss this weekend’s game.

On Friday afternoon, the Browns confirmed those suspicions and officially ruled Cameron out of Sunday’s contest.

From Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal:

Without Cameron in the line up, the Browns will turn to Gary Barnidge and MarQueis Gray to take over the tight end duties.
