There’s not really a question that Georgia QB Aaron Murray will go down as undoubtedly one of the greatest players in not just SEC history, but all of college football history as well.
While he never achieved the national championship aspirations with his Georgia team, nor has he grabbed himself a Heisman that some thought he would, he’s still been among the elite in the nation.
Everyone knows this and appreciates Murray for that, and that includes Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin.
Today, Murray revealed on twitter a very classy note that he received from Sumlin in which the Aggies coach expresses his thoughts on Murray to the player himself:

Now obviously, the get well soon part refers to the unfortunate fact that Murray’s spectacular collegiate career recently came to an end via a torn ACL against Kentucky. He will not get to play in the Dawgs’ upcoming bowl game against Nebraska.
