Chris Bosh had 25 points and eight rebounds, Dwyane Wade added 20 points and LeBron James scored 18 points, dished out eight assists and grabbed six rebounds as the Miami Heat rolled to a 122-103 win over the Sacramento Kings Friday night.
DaMarcus Cousins led the Kings with 27 points, eight rebounds and five assists while rookie Ben McLemore added 20 points.
These two teams put on an offensive clinic. Despite losing by 19, the Kings shot 58.1% from the floor. They did, however, only make seven of their 22 three-point attempts (31.8%) and were an absolute embarrassment at the free throw line, missing 14 of their 24 attempts (41.7%).
The Kings turned the ball over 20 times and the Heat scored 32 points off of those turnovers. The Heat scored 22 fast break points while the limiting the Kings to just six. The Heat were a scorching 51-of-83 (61.4%) from the field, 10-of-23 (43.5%) from three and hit 10 of their 14 free throw attempts (71.4%). The Heat also outrebounded the Kings by seven and scored 70 points in the paint.
The win improves the Heat to 20-6 while the Kings fall to 7-18.
