The Sacramento Kings headed out east tonight to try and get themselves a much-needed win over one of the best teams in the NBA in the Miami Heat, who are coming in very confident after their win over the Indiana Pacers a few nights ago.
Through over three quarters, it doesn’t seem as if they’re going to get that win as the Heat are holding a commanding lead, but that doesn’t mean that the Kings haven’t had their moments.
In the second half, power forward Jason Thompson showed no quit on a play, which ended in his favor.
After initially missing a turnaround hook shot down low, Thompson stayed with the play–and the ball–and ended up following up another missed shot with a punishing put-back slam for the two points:
The Kings may have only won seven games so far this season, but you wouldn’t be able to tell that with the hustle that Thompson showed on this particular play.
