The Indiana Pacers are looking to bounce back tonight from their recent, heartbreaking loss to the Miami Heat as they welcome in one of the best teams in the Western Conference, the Houston Rockets.
Early on in the game, they’re showing some good signs of making that bounce back a reality.
In the first half, Pacers guard Lance Stephenson took matters into his own hands when he took the ball right down the middle of the lane and hit a tough, contested layup right in the face of the guarding Francisco Garcia:
The first half has just concluded in Indianapolis and the Pacers have the lead, 56-45. This is definitely a statement game for the Pacers as some have gone out of their way to question whether or not they actually are the best team in the East following the loss to the defending champion Heat earlier this week.
More plays like this in the second half and not many will be questioning that any longer.
