It seems as if New York Knicks guard J.R. Smith can do no right.
He shoots too much? He’s called out by the coach. He shoots too little? He’s called out by fans.
At least he’s got family to support him through the tough time as his brother Chris Smith is currently on the Knicks roster as well. Of course, how much longer he wants to remain J.R.’s brother could be determined by how many more times J.R. decides to punch him in the groin, which he did during a timeout during the Knicks game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday afternoon.
With five minutes left in the second quarter, Chris decided to give his brother a high-five as he made his way to the bench. But being the big brother that he is, J.R. went with the low blow, sending Chris into a crouched position.
Love Chris’ reaction. He’s just trying to be a good teammate and a good brother and then takes an unexpected turkey tap and looks J.R. back to the bench.
