The Fresno State Bulldogs are having a really tough time stopping the USC offense today in Las Vegas. This was something that we all suspected might happen in this one, and it’s coming to fruition right before our very eyes.
However, through most of the first half, it was the USC passing attack that was taking care of Fresno. Cody Kessler, Nelson Agholor and Marqise Lee were their biggest problem.
In the second quarter, USC flashed a bit of their ability to run the ball, which extended their lead in this one.
On just the second play of a drive, Kessler handed it off to Javorious Allen who burst through the Fresno State defense for a 24-yard touchdown run, giving the Trojans the 28-6 lead in the first half:
USC is dominating this game in just about every phase you possibly can. But showing this kind of versatility on offense is not a good sign for the Fresno State defense. I’m not sure they’ll be able to keep up much longer in Vegas.
