As the 2013 season went along, we were beginning to learn that the USC Trojans were a different squad without Lane Kiffin at the helm. Today, in the Las Vegas Bowl against Fresno State, we’re being schooled on that fact once again.
USC is putting on an absolute offensive show in the first half, especially wide receiver Nelson Agholor. One of the luxuries that Agholor enjoys is that he gets the opportunity to play opposite Marqise Lee, which gives him some more options for some plays.
In the second quarter, Agholor put another one on the board, his second score of the day, on a rather difficult catch.
The Trojans offense capped off a drive with this 17-yard touchdown strike in which Agholor displayed tremendous concentration to control the ball in bounds in the back of the end zone, and extend the USC lead over Fresno:
It might make me sound redundant, but THIS is the USC team that we were all looking for prior to the season, and as it got underway back in September.
