The rout is on in Las Vegas.
USC showed up to play today against Fresno State in the Las Vegas Bowl, especially the offensive unit.
With questions surrounding whether or not Fresno would be able to handle the emerging firepower of the Trojans’ offense, we now know the answer. Fresno doesn’t have a prayer.
That point was solidified near the end of the first half when the 2012 Biletnikoff Award winner, Marqise Lee, scored his second TD of the game.
After a disappointing 2013 season, Lee is having himself a day. Through the first half, the USC star has four catches for 59 yards, including this beautiful 40-yard catch-and-run touchdown that gave his team the more than commanding 35-6 lead heading into the half:
For anyone that doubted whether Lee was still the same player, I think that play right there answered that. NFL scouts had to be sitting back watching this play and drooling at the thought of him doing this on Sundays.
