USC WR Marqise Lee never sent an early evaluation form to the NFL

In the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl on Saturday, the USC offense looked exactly like we all expected it to prior to the season beginning. What looked really familiar was the fact that star wide receiver Marqise Lee was out there making plays, the same type of plays that made him the 2012 Biletnikoff Award winner.

On the day, Lee finished with 118 yards on seven catches with two touchdowns. One of those scores was a beautiful 40-yard catch-and-run play that showcased why many believe that he has the potential to be a top-level receiver in the NFL.

Speaking of the NFL…

Many believe that today was the last time that we would see Lee in a USC uniform, as it’s expected that he’ll indeed throw his name into the NFL Draft next May.

While he still might, it’s worth noting that Lee revealed after the game today that he did not send an early evaluation form to the NFL to gauge his stock:

Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s definitely coming back to Southern Cal next season, but it’s definitely something worth noting.
