The bowl season has officially gotten underway with the Gildan New Mexico Bowl between the Washington State Cougars and the Colorado State Rams.
Things got off to a rather eventful start in this one as, 29 seconds into the game, Washington State QB Connor Halliday threw an interception, something he’s been prone to doing throughout the year.
However, he’s also been good at times at redeeming himself, which he did.
After his defense got the ball back for him with an interception of their own, Halliday fired a 25-yard touchdown pass to get his team on the board to begin the festivities.
Naturally, Halliday was excited about his redemption, and he showed it by celebrating right in front of the Colorado State bench.
Well, a member of the Colorado State coaching staff took exception to Halliday’s antics and shot some words back at him that, well, you can interpret for yourself:
