Marqise Lee to make NFL Draft decision ‘within two weeks’

In the USC Trojans final game of the season, star wide receiver Marqise Lee hauled in seven receptions for 118 yards and two touchdowns. It is very possible that the impressive outing was the final game of Lee’s collegiate career, but we will not know until early next year, according to the wide receiver’s own deadline.

Lee said after the game that he will make his official decision on whether or not to declare for the 2014 NFL Draft “within the next two weeks.”

When the season started, Lee was considered the top wide receiver in the nation.

Unfortunately, he was plagued by injuries throughout the season and he was never able to put together the impressive year that he had hoped for. However, that will likely not keep him from being selected in the first-round if he decides to declare — which he is expected to do.

The deadline for underclassmen to declare for the 2014 NFL Draft is Jan. 15.
