The Miami Dolphins are looking to secure a big win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon to continue their push for the postseason, so they were hoping to get a good night’s rest before taking the field in Week 16.

Unfortunately for the Dolphins, they received an unexpected wake up call at 3 a.m., when the fire alarm in their hotel went off.

According to Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post, fire trucks appeared on scene and some of those staying at the hotel made their way outside, but there was no real issue other than a prankster or a malfunctioning alarm.

Still, the early wake up could be an unwanted distraction for the players ahead of a big game.

Whether or not it affects the Dolphins players on the field remains to be seen, but you can be sure that some players may be taking ear plugs with them on the road moving forward.
