Currently sitting at 13-15, the Charlotte Bobcats aren’t exactly blowing teams out of the water but at near .500, a playoff spot isn’t out of the question.
It’s a scenario the Bobcats would like to see, which is why they’re willing to mortgage some of their future if a team has a wing player available for trade.
According to Grantland’s Zach Lowe, the Bobcats are open to trading some youthful talent and/or draft picks in order to secure an improved shooting guard/small forward:
If I had a wing I wanted to flip for future assets/picks, I’d be on the phone to Charlotte today.
On Saturday night, the Bobcats, who’ll be renamed to the Hornets next season showed off their new (more like re-vamped) logo and it appears as if they’re ready to put a winning club on the floor going into the 2014-15 campaign.
There have been no names linked to the Bobcats, though there shouldn’t be any shortage of available wing players so Charlotte is likely to have their pick of the litter if a trade is to be made.
