Jones has been an experienced force on this FSU defensive unit that has been probably the best in the nation this season en route to their upcoming appearance in Pasadena against the Auburn Tigers.
The senior recorded 49 total tackles this season with one sack as the ‘Noles transitioned to a different style of defense under first-year coordinator Jeremy Pruitt, who came over from the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Jones has been starting in Tallahassee since his sophomore season in 2011 and he’s gotten progressively better ever since, leading up to his strong performance this past season.
Florida State will take on Auburn on Jan. 6 inside the Rose Bowl where Jones will have one last chance to showcase himself in a game situation against one of the most potent offensive attacks in the country.
