The Green Bay Packers, somehow, are still breathing in the hunt for the postseason.

Dumb luck or not, the Packers will take it.

But will they be with wide receiver Randall Cobb come their do-or-die game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday? Probably not, though, if there is a silver lining it’s that the Packers do plan to increase his participation in practice:

"McCarthy: “Randall (Cobb) is going to practice more … we will up his practice reps on Thursday.”"

It should be noted, Cobb has yet to be activated from the injured reserve and still remains an unlikely candidate to play. A local Wisconsin news station even reported last week Cobb wouldn’t likely play until the postseason, assuming the Packers got there. But with the season hanging off one game, might the team bring him back early? Even as a decoy?

The Packers will see how Cobb, who is recovering from a nasty leg injury, responds in practice on Thursday and Friday before likely making a decision on his availability.
