The Miami Dolphins offensive line woes were once again highlighted in Week 16, during the team’s shutout loss to the Buffalo Bills. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill was getting beaten up all game long, before suffering a knee injury in the second half.
Tannehill returned to the game, only to be sacked again, before the team placed back up Matt Moore under center.
Despite Miami’s loss, they remain alive in the AFC Wild Card race and they would love to have their starting quarterback available for the crucial Week 17 match up. While he is a little banged up, the good news is that Tannehill says he feels fine.
“No, I feel good,” Tannehill said, via Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald.
In order to make the postseason, Miami will need to beat the division rival New York Jets next Sunday. They will also need either the San Diego Chargers or Cincinnati Bengals to come up with a win to send them into the postseason.
It won’t be easy for Miami to make the postseason, but their chances increase greatly if Tannehill is able to line up under center.
