The Phoenix Suns defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 117-90 at US Airways Arena in Phoenix, AZ. The Suns improved to 17-10, and the Lakes fell to 13-15.
The Suns used a balanced scoring attack to sail past the Lakers in Phoenix. Miles Plumlee’s 20 rebounds fueled a 62-39 rebounding advantage, which gave the Suns plenty of scoring opportunities throughout the game. Phoenix completed the team effort with a 24-12 assist advantage.
Suns top performers: Gerald Green led all scorers with 22 points. Marcus Morris netted 19 points along with four rebounds and three assists. Miles Plumlee had a monster double-double with 17 points and 20 rebounds. Eric Bledsoe scored 16 points, collected 11 rebounds, and dished out seven assists. Goran Dragic finished with 12 points and seven assists.
Lakers top performers: Nick Young scored 19 points. Jodie Meeks netted 18 points along with five rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Xavier Henry finished with 13 points and six rebounds. Paul Gasol had a quiet 10 points, four rebounds, and three assists.
