Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor found himself in an awkward position after his agent fired off comments to the Raiders organization where he said his client was being set up to fail by being given the team’s Week 17 start against the Denver Broncos.

As you would expect, Pryor wasn’t happy with the comments because they could reflect badly on him, so he took to social media to apology from the comments that his agent made.

“I apologize for the recent comments towards the Raiders organization,” Pryor wrote on Twitter. “That’s not what I’m about. I’m thankful for this opportunity given to me by this great organization and the phenomenal fans. I’m very excited to play with my teammates Sunday! We hope to make you (fans) proud!”

Pryor’s words are likely appreciated from the fans, but he can do more by going out and playing well.

If he struggles on the field, then Pryor could find himself in even more trouble that may leave him looking for a new job in the offseason.

Pretty classy move. It isn’t often you see the players acting more responsible than their agents.

Yes, Very Classy and consistent with his professional demeanor.
As a Fan I have struggled alongside the Young Mr Pryor this year. Both He and Matt have shown great character under the very worst of possibilities .
As for this last game ” Stay Classy And Go Raiders!”

It’s sad the young TP2 has to be more responsible than this agent. Good job TP2, classy move.

This kid is a phenomenal athlete with class. To bad DA is not. His agent is right though. DA all year long has wavered on giving up his starting QB 99% of the time, but against the next best team in the NFL he makes the announcement a week before the game? Now Denver can game plan all week against Pryor. Talk about a HC deliberately sabotaging a young players career to further his? Wow! It will be DA who fails and loses his job! MD is not going to let his dads last pick go until he has had a complete chance to prove himself! At this point he is still the best QB on this team.
