The Denver Broncos are once again the AFC West Champions and have clinched a first round bye. Now all they can clinch the number one seed and home field advantage with a win on Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.

The Broncos have been playing great on offense despite missing wide receiver Wes Welker who has been sidelined the last couple of games with a concussion. After missing all that time, Welker received some great news on Christmas Day.

With Welker receiving the go ahead to return to practice, it’s a positive sign of his return to game day action. He hasn’t been cleared to play on Sunday, but he could be ready to let loose around the divisional round which is about three weeks away.

That’s plenty of time to get him rested and back into the mix, so I expect him to be limited for the remainder of the week. Manning has enough targets around him to clinch what they need too on Sunday, so I’m not worried about what will happen in Oakland.
