MLB Free Agency: Deadline to sign Masahiro Tanaka set for January 24th

Things are starting to get rolling for Masahiro Tanaka as the Golden Eagles have decided to post him, which allowed him to hire an agent.

Now that Tanaka will officially be posted by the Golden Eagles on Thursday morning. Tanaka will surely pick up a huge contract that should be around five or six years. With him being a top free agent entering America, he should have some big figures thrown in his direction.

Teams across the league have been anxiously waiting for this to happen and I expect it to be a dog fight. Teams like the New York Yankees and Chicago Cubs have been thrown into the mix of teams who could be seriously players for the right handed phenom.

The deadline to sign Masahiro Tanaka has been set for January 24th at 5:00 pm Eastern Time.
