The Fresno State Bulldogs enjoyed one of their more successful seasons in recent memory as they came within one loss to San Jose State of making an appearance in a BCS Bowl. Instead, they were relegated to the Las Vegas Bowl, where they were routed by the USC Trojans.

Bowl loss aside, though, it was still an impressive season for the team from the Mountain West. Much of the attention throughout was given to their dynamic QB, Derek Carr. But, make no mistake about it, his top receiving target, Davante Adams, had a lot to do with his success as well.

On Thursday, according to Tony Pauline of DraftInsiders.net, we’re learning that Adams will now head off to the NFL to see if there is a new QB that he can help out with his talents:

On the season, Adams totaled 1,719 receiving yards and 24 touchdowns as he was easily the best wideout in the Mountain West.
