Browns Quentin Groves gave fellow linebackers lettermen jackets for Christmas

Unfortunately for Quentin Groves, injuries have had a major impact on his first season with the Cleveland Browns.  Nevertheless, the special teams captain and pass rusher has made his presence known this year.  Groves gave the linebackers a Christmas gift in the form of lettermen jackets.

For those unfamiliar with the logo, the Browns have talked about bringing back the Brownie they used much earlier in the team’s history.  People brought up the fact that the logo would need to be updated and this is the most popular version that has been brought up, though it is not actually an official logo of the team.  A player like Groves embracing it and a unit of the team wearing these jackets could conceivably push it a step closer to being an official part of the team.

The last time the subject of lettermen jackets were brought up was with the Houston Texans sporting them before getting pummeled in a game, which had many critics making jokes at their expense.  Many of them to the tune of the idea that they should have left the jackets in high school in light of the overwhelming defeat.
