Christmas is the time for giving and also the time for elaborate plans to surprise our loved ones with the gift they’ve always dreamed, and if you’re a college football fan like myself that means bowl tickets to your favorite team’s game.

In this video Grandpa orchestrates the plan by opening up tickets to see Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl, but then the real fun begins. The guy in the green shirt is the fan getting the surprise and just fair warning there is some NSFW language, but you can certainly understand the excitement and disbelief.

The uploader’s caption for the video: “Got my dad Cotton bowl tickets to see his favorite team play #MIZ-ZOU had my grandpa open them to joke with him.”

Tis the season for elaborate surprises on your loved ones. I loved how the family even arranged for the guy in the green shirt and the recipient of the tickets to get time off of work for the game on Jan. 3.

The AT&T Cotton Bowl is on FOX and for my money is the best of the non-BCS bowls featuring the Missouri Tigers and Oklahoma State Cowboys.
