Fresno State’s Davante Adams leaning towards NFL

College football underclassmen have until January 15 to declare for the 2014 NFL Draft or return to school. One of the players faced with those decisions is Fresno State Bulldogs wide receiver Davante Adams, who is coming off of a monstrous redshirt sophomore season.

According to a report from CBS Sports, Adams “told a Fresno official that he’s favoring the move despite his NFL draft advisory board grade not yet arriving to the school.”

This past season, Adams had a whopping 131 catches, 1,718 receiving yards and 24 touchdowns.

As it currently stands, Adams will likely be an early day two pick. Of course, he could blow scouts away with his workouts and creep in to the bottom of the first.
