Knicks G Beno Udrih says NBA's sleeved jersey messed up his shot

The New York Knicks took quite a beating from the Oklahoma City Thunder on Christmas Day – though it wasn’t all their fault. At least not according to point guard Beno Udrih, who blamed the new sleeved jersey the Knicks debuted.

Udrih: “Personally [the short-sleeved jersey] bothered me & my shot. On a normal shot Im used 2 getting my shoulder & elbow up [unhindered]“

The sleeved jersey, which the NBA is attempting to promote ad nauseam hasn’t been overly welcomed by many players, including Udrih, many of whom have suggested the clothing to be overly resctrictive.

Udrih went 1-6 on the day, though, it’s not as if anybody else on the Knicks was lighting it up either so it looked to be more of a good team in OKC beating a bad team in New York. The uniforms certainly didn’t bother the Thunder, who posted 123 points on the Knicks.

Regardless, it’s just another NBA player who’s less than happy with the new threads.
