Since agreeing to a four-year, $44 million extension with the Milwaukee Bucks, things have not gone well for Larry Sanders or the Bucks.

He was benched by Bucks’ head coach Larry Drew, went on a strange rant on instagram and reportedly was involved in a bar fight. He was cited for his role in the fight.

During the fight, Sanders injured his thumb, needed surgery and the injury has kept him off of the floor since a November 2 loss to the Toronto Raptors.

Sanders has played in only three games this season.

According to the Bucks, Sanders was at practice Thursday and is listed as “probable” for Friday night’s game against the Brooklyn Nets.

Last season, Sanders looked like he was developing into one of the better big men in basketball. In 71 games, he made 55 starts and played 27.3 minutes per game.  He averaged 9.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.8 blocks and 1.2 assists per game. Although Sanders started all three of the games he’s played in, he only played 17.3 minutes per game. He’s averaging 2.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 0.7 assists per game.
