San Antonio Spurs power forward Tim Duncan is a unique character.
He’s quite possibly the most boring yet efficient player to ever grace an NBA court and seems to be void of any personality – at least on the surface.
But as anybody who follows the NBA knows, looks can be deceiving when it comes to the former Wake Forest product who is known inside NBA circles for his dry sense of humor.
That was on display recently when he decided to run by former teammate and now color commentator for San Antonio Spurs broadcasts, Sean Elliott.
As Elliott was on the floor shooting a live segment for the local Fox Sports affiliate in San Antonio, Duncan (who was participating in layup drills) decided to rush by Elliott and push him off his chair, sending him crashing to the crowd much to the shock of the television crew and Elliott himself.
Being the pro that he is, Elliott got back on camera and finished giving his report while Duncan rode off into the sunset, completing his layup a few moments later.
