The Pittsburgh Panthers are looking to end their first season as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference on a high note as they fight for a victory tonight over the Bowling Green Falcons in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl.
Pitt finished their year at 6-6 on the year, and a couple of those wins could be chalked up to their sensational true freshman all-everything threat, Tyler Boyd.
Boyd has proven time and time again that he has a bright future as the offensive force of this team, and he showed that again here in the final game of his first year.
With about six minutes left in the second quarter, the Falcons were forced to punt to Boyd who was awaiting his chance to make something happen again.
Boyd fielded the punt, and then he was off.
He weaved his way through the Bowling Green coverage team down the left sideline, then tip-toed his way in for the touchdown, to give Pitt the 17-3 lead at the time.
