If the 2013 Russell Athletic Bowl was the last time that we see Teddy Bridgewater play college football, then he certainly gave us one hell of a lasting impression as he led his Louisville Cardinals team to a blowout victory over the Miami Hurricanes, 36-9.
In what was probably his last performance before he heads off to the NFL, Bridgewater was stellar yet again as he abused the Miami defense to the tune of 447 yards on 35-of-45 passing with three touchdowns and no interceptions.
Bridgewater also rushed for a score, having him officially account for four total touchdowns on the evening.
When the game got underway, it didn’t seem like Bridgewater was going to have an easy night, as he was sacked by the Miami defense early on for a safety, giving the ‘Canes an early 2-0 lead.
From that moment on though, Teddy took over and the Hurricanes had no answers for anything Teddy did on the field.
Wide receiver DeVante Parker benefited most from Bridgewater’s efforts on the night, catching nine of his passes for 142 yards and a score.
The Cardinals finish their season an impressive 12-1, while Miami goes into the offseason at 9-4.
