The Minnesota Vikings quarterback carousal continues to spin as we enter the final week of the NFL’s regular season.

With the team still seemingly undecided about Matt Cassel, Christian Ponder and Josh Freeman – it’s unknown how the team will move forward with their signal caller in 2014.

Regardless of a roster crunch at the quarterback position, Josh Freeman is interested in returning as he recently told the St. Paul Pioneer Press:

"‘I definitely have interest in coming back, for sure,” Freeman said. “It’s a great organization, a great team.”"

Why wouldn’t he, in all honesty? Freeman, who signed a one-year, $2 million dollar deal earlier this year doesn’t exactly have teams lighting up his phone hoping to obtain his services, let alone willing to give him a starting opportunity.

That’s not to say he’d get such with the Vikings in 2014, but he seems to think he may.

Interested in returning or not, both Cassel and Ponder are under contract for next season and unless one of the two are moved, it’s doubtful the Vikings will bring back Freeman.
