Late rapper Notorious B.I.G. once asked – ‘What’s beef?’

Beef is what Nascar Champion Jimmie Johnson and former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb have after the former signal caller questioned Johnson’s ‘athletic’ talent.

You may recall, back in November McNabb said Johnson (and race car drivers as a whole) weren’t athletes. That of course didn’t sit well with Nascar drivers (who were in season) nor did it sit well with Johnson.

The two dropped subtle verbal barbs at each other for the next few days before everything quieted down – until recently when Johnson, who came in third for the AP’s Athlete of the Year award voting took another shot at McNabb:

So I’m told the @AP or @AP_Sports ranked me as the 3rd best athlete of 2013… not bad for a non-athlete.
