The University of Massachusetts Minutemen will try and bounce back from their first loss of the season on Saturday when they host the Providence Friars and seek their 11th win of the season.

UMass had a very poor outing in their last one, their first loss of the year to the Florida State Seminoles. It was close at 60-55, but it was the first time they tasted defeat in this young season.

However, center Cady Lalanne is taking the loss as a positive almost, and he’s looking at it as something that could possibly fuel this team moving forward now:

“We know how it feels to lose a game now,” said center Cady Lalanne, who scored 10 points and tied a career high with 15 rebounds. “It’s motivation.”

We’ll found out just how motivated they are when they welcome in a very good Providence squad who sits at 10-2.

Here’s how you can watch all the action live on Saturday:

Date: Dec. 28

Start Time: 6 PM ET

Location: Amherst, MA

Arena: D. Mullins Center

Live Stream: WatchESPN app
